The focus of this webinar is to share the work of the Virtual Simulation Community of Learning and its Steering committee who have created a website related to Canadian virtual simulation in nursing education. The use of virtual simulations has increased exponentially due to their ability to provide experiential and vicarious learning opportunities increasing nursing student’s ability to practice critical thinking. The main focus of the Virtual Simulation Community of Learning is to support one another and build capacity for nurse educators with this expertise. Part of this work includes establishing an accessible on-line environment which will promote knowledge, learning and opportunities to advance virtual simulation in nursing education.
